Working on my A/C on my 2955. I am getting power to the thermostat switch from the blower switch. Figuring the switch was bad, I jumped the 2 wires together but I am still not getting power to the compressor. Power runs up to pressure switch in the cab but there is nowhere for it to go from there.

I suggest if you don't already have a TM for to you get a 2955 tech manual. Be sure printed circuit board in RH side of instrument panel is making good contacts. Also check for good cab electrical ground connections.
IMHO when viewing instrument panel wiring schematic in JD utility tractors tech manuals I thought wiring schematic resembled a spider web. Wiring on those tractors with cab was not one of JD engineers most shining moments.

Thanks TxJim. I think I found the problem. Someone installed a hi/low pressure switch and then also attached it to a ground. Thermostat switch and pressure switch are burnt up. I have ordered new low and high pressure switches and a new thermostat switch.
Should the thermostat switch feed the low pressure then low pressure to high pressure then to the compressor??

I think what you stated is correct but it's been many yrs since I viewed a JD utility tractor AC wiring circuit diagram.

If it happened to be converted to r134a a lot of the kits have pressure switch and chunk of harness to add up top thermostat should be first in the loop I did a 4640 recently
I believe 55 series was still r12 when new
