2N clutch clevis adjuster

Happy 4th all!
Attempting to adjust the clutch. Clevis pin at the bell housing seems to be non removable but has a cotter pin. Is the clevis at the clutch pedal threaded? There is a nut behind it which makes me think it slides on the rod while the nut holds it in place / pin would keep it from turning. If the clevis is threaded, it must be rusted solid. Any suggestions?
Thanks & have a safe holiday,
John

Be careful on this one John....had this happen on the 8n.....soaked it for days with liquid
wrench....yes it is threaded....I heated it and it broke loose.....I was sweating it the whole time.....would'nt hurt to have a spare in case of breakage...a friend of mine was not so fortunate and he ended up doing the easy out routine.....I know a guy in NY who has a 8n junkyard.....I know he could hook you up with the spare....let me know if you want his contact info.....he has any, and I mean any and every used part.....Cheers, Ed

Excellent, Thanks Ed. I never considered heat but will after soaking it for about a week. As for a spare, I guess a piece of allthread and 2 clevices ( or would it be clevi? ) would work temporarily till I could locate the real thing. I would like his contact info...just in case...as there are numerous projects I would like to involve myself with as time permits.
Thanks so much Ed.

So I see...bummer...things like that on my other equipment I always gave a shot of WD40 from time to time but I guess the PO felt differently. Just another bump in the road........

John.....I will forward the contact info as soon as I get back.....right in the middle of flying a 4 day trip.....In fact.....I should post the info to the forum.......the guy has everything and is quite the character....should post the info in a day or two......Until then...soak the heck out of the threads...Cheers, ED
