What should the compression be on a 1946 ford 2N engine?

Minimum acceptable pressure is 90 lbs w/ the lowest pressure reading w/in 75% of the highest reading.

ditto what bruce said.. ford spec'd 90 psi as minimum.. in a new fresh engine might see 120-135 psi.

I've seen alot of engines in the 80's and even in the high 70's that still did an honest days work even if they were short a few ponies.. mid 70's and down and they are probably hard starters unless you pull them off or convert to 12v.
