2n on craigslist

From what I can see it doesn't look too bad.
All depends on what you use them for.
I'm pretty much convinced that I like my 9N and 2N
with Zane Thang's better than my 8N for most jobs.

Wish it was close to me-I"d buy it at that price quick before he changed his mind..and i don"t even use the one I have-I let my L1500 Kubota do all the work..Grey market-yes--been tough as nails-bought in "96-has had one alternator belt, nothing else.(OK I"m through rambling--consider it free info that means nothing to nobody but me)Oh yea, pd $3600 for the tractor and a new 4 ft bushhog.

Zane Thang is the mechanical position control aftermarket option designed and built by Zane Sherman. I have one on my 2N and it has been wonderful. He still has them available around the web somewhere.

Got it home. pretty good shape sounds and drives good....extra surprise when I looked at it...he did'nt tell me it has a high low range...bad news the lever will not move. Will have to research that. Thank to all.

Interesting. I found I liked my 9N better than my jubilee, and if I
had rigged up live hyds I probably wouldn't have sold it.

Why do you like your 9N better than your 8N?

Bill, the ground speed/gearing just seems to be more
in line with what I use them for most of the time.
It also seems to be lighter in the front, so a tad more nimble.
My 8N will lift more on the 3pt before lifting the front wheels though.

I love my Jubilee, but it has a large front end loader, CaCl in
the 13.6 rear tires and about 700lbs of concrete hanging off
the back, so its a monstrosity compared to either my 8N or 9N.
It was nearly impossible to drive until I added power steering.
