2N Radiator Cap

I have two different winged radiator caps. One is stamped with a pressure relief valve the other is cast (much nicer) with just tabs for an inside filler mount. I would like to use the cast one, but it does not fit the radiator. Any information on the differences. I may try to modify the cast one to work. Thanks, Chuck

I might be wrong but i think the stamped cap is the newer one for the new pressure radiators. The cast one i think is for the older non pressure radiators...

One of the other guys may confirm this or know the right answer.

Chuck........use the 4psi PRESSURIZED radiator system. STAY-AWAY from the unpressurized system. Just 'cuz the cap is cute, don't mean 'nuttin'. A clever shadetree mechanic could re-mount the eye candy chrome wing on a new 4psi cap. Now you'd have the best of both worlds. ......Dell
