First let me thank all those who've provided guidance both in real time and through the archives. Everything went pretty smooth minus a few hiccups. I'm nearing completion. Hope to start it next week. Went to hook up the exhaust tube to the new manifold and the old clamp wouldn't fit onto the exhaust manifold. Not even close. comparing the ole with the new they're different shapes. Will the exhaust clamp sold here fit on the new manifold?

i had this same issue when i replaced my manifold. two possibilities:

1. u are putting the clamp on upside down. will flipping it fix the problem? if not...

2. there are two different sizes of these clamps, and u, like me, have the clamp with a smaller bite than the one needed.

That manifold was not machined correctly.Contact seller for replacement

I believe that is the case. The new manifold has a much larger end on it. The old clamp wont come close no matter what way I try.
Where can i get the larger clamp?

i wish i could remember where mine ended up coming from

Just replaced my 2N clamp from here Kirk, went back fine. I did not realize there were 2 sizes, guessed I luck out in this case. That rarely happens.
