2n Sherman?

Hi, this is a 2n and I thought it had a Sherman transmission. However, every video I watch online shows a Sherman having a lever hooked to it from the side. Any ideas? Just a different version?

Also, it stuck really hard.

They made different versions of the Sherman. Yours looks like a overdrive with a cable shifter.

Is it generally the knob or cable or do the gears get hung up? It drove this way for my dad for the last 30 years. I just figured since I had it apart Id fix it.

The cable's likely stuck inside its sheath. The sheath is a wire wrapping, so if you can remove the whole thing and soak it in some rust remover you may free it up. If not, get the step up handle from Red Rock to replace the cable.
