2n SPARK PLUGS

I have a 46 2n front mount distributor 12v conversion. Ran it pretty hard yesterday bushhoggin after about 2 hours started missing and loss of power. Removed plugs and discovered it had autolite 216"s in it and they were pretty fouled up. I bought autolite 437"s to put back in it as per previous post about plugs for 8n. Are the 437"s OK to use in the 2n?

Just as an aside, I had 216s in my 8N for about the last 100 hours. Had the head off when I got the crank turned recently and the inside was pretty nasty from the carbon. When I got the parts to put my 8N back together I got a set of 437s...it sure does run and idle better...haven't touched anything else.

Thanks for the replies. Changed out the plugs to 437's, I did look down the plug holes with flashlight and there was a lot of carbon on top of pistons. But the 437's made it run better than it has since I have had it.
