2n wiring diagram

I need a wiring diagram for a 2n with a 12v conversion running an electronic ignition module (Pertronix) instead of points. I have a 2 wire alternator on this setup. I rewired my 45 2n and am aving some problems and the previous wiring was ofno help or absent. Thanks in advance.

2 wire never heard of one of those. If it is a Delco 10SI it is a 3 wire ya the one wire is maybe 2 or 3 inches long but it is there and needs to be there

I'm not with it tonight, I missed the "2 wire", thought it said three.

And I missed the fact that he asked for a diagram specific to Pertronix. It seems to be a minor adjustment to the rest of the diagram though. Photo from the internet below.

Thanks guys! I know how the Pertronix is supposed to be hooked up and the alternator is a "3" wire. According to the mny digrams I"ve seen my wiring seems to be fine but the tractor has a miss and I can"t find it. When we first got it running it ran very well. This was with the old wiring but had the 12v conversion and Pertronix w/ round coil. I"ve replaced everything can think of (plugs, wires, wiring) and can"t track down the miss. Any suggestions?

t is running, but has a mis..........well, that is not a wiring problem.
If you had a wiring problem, it would not be running. Even improper spark plug wire order at the distributor doesn't present itself as a mis.

A miss can be caused by many things. Poor compression on 1 cylinder can act like a miss as can a vale that is burnt or not opening or closing as it should. Even a manifold problem can cause that but not often a electrical problem as in wiring since if it runs then it has to be some place past the distributor or in the distributor but not the over all way it is wired as in ignition. Shoot even a cracked distributor cap can cause a simple miss

Thanks!!! The engin has been rebuilt and as I said before ran real good at first. I think I'll start with the manifold and make sure it's tight. It's a newer one and maybe they didn't quite get it tightened down right. Then I guess compression checks and who knows what else. Thanks again.

One easy way to check for a manifold/vacuum leak is take a propane torch unlit and wave it around the manifold and if the engine smooths out then you have found the problem

I gave the propane torch a try and nothring. I'm beginning to think I need to put it back together, put some Sea Foam in the fuel and run it. I'm going to pull the carb again and check it as I saw another post here that sounds like the person is having similar problems. I'll post what my results are...

You do know seafoam is a simple mix of alcohol and naphtha and a lot of time will not help any. Now if you said a mix of MMO or ATF and fuel that I can agree with
