3 point acting weird

I have a 1950 8N. This winter I used it for plowing and it worked like
a charm. Until one day I went to clear my driveway and the back
blade didn?t want to touch the ground. It would raise up like normal
and when I drop it down it would stop .5 inch above ground.

When I flip lever under seat to turn on what I believe to be draft
control. The blade would drop all the way down and I was able to
plow driveway. It was much harder to control the plow this way
because the position control lever is kinda up or down, no in
between.

Could there be a valve sticking somewhere? What would cause the
lift to not go down all the way?

Some have mentioned the cam follower pin getting a flat spot will cause this. I have a tractor doing the same thing.

You do not need to split the tractor! You pull the top cover off to replace the cam follower pin and adjust the linkage. You will need the I&T FO4 manual to do this.
