Hi guys,
I recall reading a recent post about the location of the pins in the under-axle bracket that anchors the stabilzer bars that control side to side sway of implements on 9N's. After reading this info I realized my pivot pins were not aligned with the lower lift arm pins. I moved the pivot pins into the holes that are in alignment vertically as well as fore and aft with the lift arms. Now I can attach both ends of either the left or the right stabiler bar. But when I go to connect the second bar (the other side)it is a good 1-1.5 inches short of alignment. The top link is OK, and either side will connect but not the second side.Its almost as if the bars are too short or the brackets are wrong.I've adjusted the R-side lift arm to several lengths but none allow connection.I'm sure I'm not the first to run into this. Ideas??

Yes both sides need connection points inline with lift arm pivot pins or else binding occurs somewhere within the full range of motion.
My problem occurred after installing new lift arms that were about a half inch longer.
I had to cut and drill my own stabilizer bars out of flat stock.

Tooner........you may have yer under the fender 3-point link brackets BASSACKWARDS. You should NOT haffta cut ennythang. I know when I attach my links, I haffta kinda swing the implement back'n'forth; kinda springing the bracket. And alla sudden they "pop" right on the pins. Puttza linch pins in and good to go. .........Dell

I'm sure the vertical portion of both brackets face inboard, not outboard. Are the brackets designated to be (and stamped?) Left and Right?

tooner.........yer complaint about anti-sway bars not being the correct length, implies the vertical bracket is too close to the lower link arms. With the vertical part of the bracket farther away, (out by the brake) by triangulation, the anti-sway bar should fit without modification. Dunno about being stamped left'n'rite. .........geometry Dell
