3 point won't lift

Need some help here please. My lift lever on my ford 4000 will not move more than and inch and then very hard. Arms raise but drift down quickly. Alway before it just slid up easily then as I lowered it would go to the stop set

They will probably want to know if you have an early 4 cylinder
4000 or the later 3 cylinder 4000 so they can help you better.

So, as Royse asked, is a four cylinder or a three cylinder? Need to know which animal before trying to doctor it.
