3 point wont move

I had a problem with thye 3 point on an 8n not wanting to work right. I replaced the top cover (under the seat) and the thing worked great. I have a cement weight on hte 3 point right now and it worked good up until today. Now it won"t raise or lower. I moved the small lever under the seat and it doesn"t matter. The pump in the trans works like it is supposed to without any air bubbles and there is no oil leaking from the piston. What do I need to do? Thanks

Put a guage on the test port on the front right corner of your hyd pump. Tell us what pressure you have and report back. I believe you should be reading 1600+.

Determine if the control valve is moving in and out.
PTO engaged?????

keep in mind that the test plug port is not taper pipe thread but rather straight thread.. IE for for an orb or banjo style crush washer port.

Thanks for the help. I got ready to tear into the thing and started the tractor to move it. I raised the lever for the 3 point and it lifted and lowered. I played with it laqst night and it works great. I"m thinking maybe it had an air pocket in the piston for a minute.
