i have a ford jubalee it will not hold in the up postion 3 point am sure o rings are bad is it a hard job to replace these any comments or advice

See the link I posted. I know it's a
different series of tractors but
it'll definitely help you and it's
not really a hard job.

I have a jubilee too.
I think the 3 pt cylinder is part of the lift
cover and they only used that lift on 1953 and
1954 models. My concern is can you get parts and
what do you do if the cylinder and piston had
deep groves?

I used an electric winch to lift my cover.
I pushed the tractor forward and set the over on
a portable workbench.

IF you get the lift cover off, it would be a good time to look at the cam follower pin or replace it.

A jub is a NAA, the NAA was made in 1953 and 54. Its somewhat of a different animal. I would post this on the 9N,2N,8N board are the ford board. I have never been into the hydraulics on a NAA I have before and after a NAA. The NAA is kin to the hundred series hydraulics you need to know about the Acorn nut that has to be removed and a hydraulic tube that needs to be pushed into the housing. There will be some differences on a NAA as it was a work in progress and only made 2 years.

I have an 8N and a MF202. Sometimes I put the mower on either tractor. I always use height stabilizer chains with my Woods M5 mower. Both tractors have working position control but I figure why make the tractors work to keep that mower at the same level? So I use the stabilizer chains. You can always raise the mower higher if needed with the touch control.

do you connect to the mower or around 3 point lift arms and on top you use top link pin to connect or else where

thanks

I could use the top link pin to connect too but I prefer to use the built in lugs on the casing on both tractors.

The top pic shows the connection on those lugs on my MF202
The next pic shows the bottom of the chains hooked to my quick hitch lift pins but if you don't have quick hitches, you can connect right to the lift pins on the mower.
The bottom pic shows the connectors on the built in lugs for the chains.

You can buy the chain set right here on YT. This link will show you a picture so you can see the ends and how they work. https://www.yesterdaystractors.com/MHSK1_Mower-Deck-Height-Stabilizer-Kit_9603.htm
