3 pt hitting axle.....

hey guy, when my 3 pt hitch is completely lowered it hits the rear axle at this point in the picture, what do i do to prevent this, remove links from the chains or something?

The bottom limit is when the cylinder bottoms out. Are the arms on the spindle on the right splines?
Chains only control maximum side sway.

i think they are it looks like 2 bolts go into the ends and they can only be positioned 1 way.

My original leveling box did not do this. The replacement one that I bought, which looks just like yours, hits the trumpet when it's all the way.

Dunno if there's a cure for it but about a 3' broomstick laid under the arms, covered in carpet or cloth to prevent scratching paint, will save the metal to metal contact.
That or leave an implement attached.
