30 to 38 inch

Have an 830 wheat land that currently has 30 inch rear rubber. I would like to put 38 inch on it. What is the easiest way to accomplish this? I have access to row crop axle housings. Can I just switch the rear axles? What are your thoughts?

18.4x30 and 15.5x38 tires are the same height, 55". 16.9x 38 are 61" tall. Speeds would change going to 16.9s. A lot of work to change axles, plus have to have the 38" centers. Why don't you like the 30s. Have two 800s, one 38 the other a standard with 30". The 18.4x30 give good traction.
