300 Cylinder Head Question

While working on cleaning up the head for my 300, I noticed a sleeve pressed into the hole for the center stud. Is this there from the factory or is this a repair of some kind? I don't see any other defects in the head or any other signs of repairs. I'll try to attach a photo.
