Just bought this tractor for a repair project. Motor is loose but needs a lot of TLC along the way. In my mulling it over I am thinking I should start at the front and remove parts until I get to the rear end. The clutch doesn't seem to work and when they loaded it by picking it up water ran out the one axle so there is probably no oil in the rear end. Wide front needs repair. Kind of different with only the front mount hydraulic.

Well that is an oddball for sure. The add on hydraulic pump, and the fast hitch are not stock. The fast hitch is either from 350u or maybe a 340u, but I also don't see the traction control lever. My 300u,in our family since 75hrs, with a manual steering box, has shorter pitman arms, and the pto housing is different-it looks like the one our 340u had.
That 2pt to 3pt adapter is odd too. it puts 3pt equipment way back there. Any way, keep us posted that looks like a fun job. Mark.

So got the water, about 4 gallons out of the rear end. There was some hytran left in all three compartments, didn't drain it completely yet. Traction control handle is there but the mount on the top where you set it is broke so it is tipped down. The sway control is broke from the right had side but that is a common break. The thing has power steering on it which surprised me. Was loosening the front to repair the stay ball in the middle but likely will need to take it off to get all the extra weld off. Got the fenders off so I can repair them. Decided I should see if the motor will run next. There is a bunch of wiring problems and I am not sure what the person was doing but found extra resistors and condensers up front when I got the rest of the sheet metal off. The fuel line to the carb was cut off and mud daubers filled it up. Took the carb apart and ran wires through plugged holes all over the place in it. Biggest thing with the carb is I did not find a venturi in it with the ports I will down load a pic I am thinking it should have one.. Ordered a manual for that tractor which should come in a few days.
