I have been reading threads on this board but have not seen any follow up to this question. I have a 1974 ford 3000 with 8 speed transmission. 4 -hi 4-low. 2 stage clutch, input shaft has 10 splines pto input has 29. I am replacing the clutch, pressure plate, throw out and pilot bearings as well as freeze plugs. I have a little seepage of transmission oil coming from weep hole on the throw out bearing support. Can I remove the 5 bolts holding this sleeve and input shaft to replace the oil seal or will I have to do more? My IT manual does not cover just seal replacement. I think the 2 stage clutch may make it more complicated. Thanks for your help. Gary
