3000 wiring harness

Does anyone know where I can buy an aftermarket wiring harness for a "74 gas 3000 that is identical to the OEM harness? I need both front and rear harnesses.

How close to identical do you mean?
You just want one that works?
I first thought of this site.
I've bought at least 3 of them from here.
But then I looked and don't see it listed.
I did find one listed on Ebay.
It is listed as for a diesel.
But don't let that scare you off. There is ONE WIRE that is different between gas and diesel.
The gasser has one for the coil, diesel has one for the thermostart. They both go to almost the same location on the engine. Coil wire is about 16 ga, thermostart wire is about 10 ga. You need to change the female spade connector on the 10 ga wire to a smaller size to fit on the key switch. EZ

Thanks. I've seen those also. I am really looking for an exact reproduction of the harness, as I am going to restore the tractor this winter, but need the harness now. I've seen exact reproductions for the N model tractors, but can't find one for my 3000, other than at the New Holland dealer, and I can't afford to buy it from them!

Go to wiringharness.com.He makes a identical harness to OEM.I have used him a couple of times and will use them again.He also provides a installation sheet and gives good support via the phone if needed,

Is the 3000 harness a special? They don't list anything for any tractor on their website.

If you looking to restore a 3000 come on up to Minneapolis. I have an NOS tranny and rear end I could sell you. Every nut, bolt, gear, shaft and bearing is NEW.

Thanks, but I don't need any of those parts. What I do need is a harness and a good straight radiator surround.

Try Agri Services.Same people just a different website.They have a list of prices or just call them.Got a harness for a 65 Ford 2000 a couple of months ago.Should be the same or real close to it.
