3005 4wd advice

While I love my 49 8N, she isn"t up to certain tasks. Am considering this JD for use in my 1/4acre garden ( 1 bottom plow & rotary tiller ),but more importantly for some "light" for hire work ( bush hogging, simple landscaping, posthole work, etc.. ). I"d get the FE loader. I find the manual trans more attractive for long-term maint costs. The weight is compatible w/ my towing capabilities. I"ve compared against similar Mahindra, Cub Cadet, and Kubota machines. I"d appreciate any advice on whether or not this machine would be up to the tasks listed.

3005 is a very well built machine. We see very few with problems at the dealership. Mostly they come in for service and right back out again. If you are thinking of going over 4ft. on the bushhogging in thick grass if will lack power. 4005 may be a better option and will handle a 5ft. cutter with no problem. Both are very well built and quality machines. One of the best compact tractors on the market.
