301/1020 bucket dump super slow

1974 JD 301 Industrial. All bucket functions work properly except when I go to dump over the bucket. Just very slow going over, stops sometimes,
increase RPM a bit, and it goes just slow. New hyd pump, new lines, pressure checks OK, system serviced, rams rebuilt, etc. Everything else works
fine just but the dump. Thinking hyd control? Any ideas before I go there? Cheers and stay safe!

It's probably going to be something simple, but hard to find. An over simplification I know. Could be in the valve, but could be something as simple as a hose. I had a hose made one time and the guy who made it had the press set up too high and crushed the inside of the fitting so the oil couldn't flow through. My bet is on something as simple as that.

Does bucket dump at same speed with bucket full or empty of material? To check to determine if control valve is at fault you could switch hoses on valve for bucket & boom cylinders

There doesn't happen to be a set of hydraulic quick disconnect couplers in that circuit, does there?

I was kinda wondering that too. The male tip on those Pioneer couplers can be a source of aggravation sometimes.

Thanks for the help, haven't had a chance to investigate just yet. No quick couplers. Going to pull offending hose and see if plugged as I have seen that before as well. Then switch bucket with raise to isolate the problem. Great advice helps to pin it down quicker! I will let you know the results.
