who has a good gear reduction starter alone or a complete kit to get away from this 24v system?

12 volt starter PLUS changing a couple of wires, installing a 12 volt alternator & changing battery cables for 12 volts only. ALSO IIRC fuel gauge & sender would need changing

I'm out to change every 24 volt over that I can,, a gear reduction starter won't fit will because of the way the intake manifold is made,, the little Iskra starter works well on a 3010/3020 because of the fuel filters are in the way..

Sometimes the fuel guage works after a conversion and sometimes they don't. Can not figure out what the difference is. Tom
