gonna try putting a wide front on my 3010, right now it has a single front wheel. Gonna do this outside, anyone got any ideas on the best way to get it under the tractor. Gonna jack tractor up and take single front off, now on the grass what is the best way to roll the front under the tractor. Thanks Rick

Where is your jack? Perhaps I just like to be safe but this sound kind of dangerous. I have removed front ends from a number of new generation tractors to remove the hydraulic pump, always used a split stand on the tractor and a hoist on the front end. I wouldn't try it on grass, too much give to it. If you don't have a split stand, jack up tractor and block it securely, maybe you can get help to roll the front end in.

Yea, Im gonna try to use a transmission jack on a sheet of plywood and two men to roll the tires, will have the tractor blocked and use a bottle jack to lower the front of the tractor to the right lever to bolt on and use a lot of patients and be very careful will let u know how this turns out. just thought someone might have a better way.

For my 2 cents, keep in mind that the pedestal is heavy and can overcome the balance point of the wheels and spindles. It will happen so fast you can't react. My uncle told me and when it did I was out of the way & luckily no catastrophe. Be careful.

I've got an old railroad 'pinch' bar whose handle perfectly fits the holes in the front axle; let's one person easily balance it. Better to have a helper to help roll/guide it, but I've done it by myself.

Yes Ive got one of those, maybe I will try that,Maybe 4 men could do this fairly easy. One on the bar, one on each wheel to roll it and one to bolt it up, thanks

A floor jack with a bolt hole drilled in it and a flat bar bolted to the jack attached to the center cradle makes it a one man job. Bend the ends of the flat bar so it just fits the width of the cradle so nothing can move.Kind of like a bull cinch---ya got em.
