3020 gas powershift side console

Still going through my late fathers tractors. In his to do row is a 3020 side console gas standard powershift. It is complete but the hood is pretty rough.
Anyone know how many of these were made? I am debating whether to keep it as a yard tractor or send it down the road. Already have a bunch of 4010/20 gas standards but none with powershift so this might be handy?

Due to the large number of 3020/4020 produced that number is not known. Most all others are documented. There were only 9 4000 gas power shifts and there are a few 1of1 but they are all hi crops.

I would keep the gas 3020PS , they are an uncommon tractor . Should start well enough in the winter too .
I would add a Pertronix ignition .
A gas 4020 standard would be semi rare too , in particular a side console .

Two of the 4000 gas Powershifts were on a vegetable farm east of Owatonna MN about 8 miles from our farm. Sold out of Owatonna.

Ernie Goebel who passed and George Bracksma both avid JD collectors each had 3,One of Ernies sold on his sale for $80K+.A friend of mine had a 1970 FWA 4020 LP power shift, doubt there were many of those.I think it might have sold in a group of 40 tractors to Polk.I have had a few 4000 gas syngros and they were easy to sell just not what I like.
