Saw something the other day I"d never seen before...Had a 3020 come in that had a noise in the middle and wouldn"t start... starter was growling so I pulled it off to check it when I noticed the flywheel flopping around. Split it in the middle and sure enough...all four bolts and both dowel pins were sheared off in the crank. I"ve seen a crank bolt here and there broken in bigger tractors but never seen bolts, dowels and all completely destroyed. In the end the customer told me he was pulling a one shank ripper in hard ground and had broken 8 shear bolts (on the ripper). Funny how the real story comes out in the end...anyway, that was a new one on me..
I can't believe a 3020 had enough power to break the bolts 
I have seen 4630/4430's shear them, but they use the same bolts a 3020 does. Most of the time they fail because they were stretched when replacing the flywheel a time or two before, I always replace the flywheel bolts every time I have one off, they are an all-thread bolt and the will fail quicker than normal.
