3020 pto won't engage

I have a 3020 with powershift transmission that the pto constantly spins. We've dealt with this for years, anyhow it stops when a load is applied but now the lever that engages the pto moves freely & has no detent. I don't feel engagement. Is there a linkage under the cowl that came disconected because the lever just moves freely now.

Check to be sure spring is attached correctly & that nut that holds arm(key 13) to control valve shaft is tight.

When ever a PTO will not stop it should really be dealt with soon,, for 2 reasons #1 some one could get wrapped in the spinning shaft #2 when the shaft is spinning there is a big chance that the PTO brake anchor pin is sheared and can let the brake sin in the housing,,this can cause a lot of trouble.. First thing to check is the nut holding lever #13 in Jim's picture it can come loose and let the lever slip off the shaft,,if this is not the problem a split is next,,a double split to be exact....
