3020 syncro hydraulic drain plug broke

Servicing the hydraulics on a 3020 synchro shift and the small drain plug is stuck tight. I tried some heat, but didn't think I should get it too hot. I have now twisted off the square head. I pulled the main plug and the filter and drained about 6 gallons, but I think it may have been low to start. I also cleaned the filter, which barely had any foreign material on it. How much should I worry about the small plug? Found an old post stating that very little drains from it if you drain large plug first.
Thanks,
John

What small drain plug are you referring? Where exactly is it located in trans case? All I can locate in 3020 parts catalog is one hyd oil drain plug.
I have added pics from the manual and of the plug on the tractor.
Thanks,
John

3020 parts schematic that I checked before replying doesn't show but 1 drain plug(item 20) I'm attempting to understand what compartment in trans case that small plug could be under

Ok, think I'm just going to fill and move on, there can't be much left by leaving that plug in. My main goal was changing the filter and cleaning the screen anyway.
Thanks,
John

Can you weld a nut on it?

Any plug, big or small you cannot get loose, just take a hammer and hit square on its head several times. This will loosen the threads letting you to get the plug out!!
