Getting ready to paint my 330 John Deere . What paint would you suggest using, the regular JD Classic with hardener or another brand automotive paint

Having just paid for a gallon of Ollie green in dupont chromabase, I'd say let your wallett be your guide. Fred

PPG two-part urethane. Automotive quality. If you wanted to, you could follow up with several coats of clear if you like that filthy rich look.
