rebuilt baler last year,COMPLETELY. ejector got new (eaton) pump, after about 1100 bales pump got noisy. Sent back to eaton they said over pressurization caused pump to fail. So this year, rebuilt the pump, and will be putting a pressure gage on #4 pan latch line to monitor pressure. JD tech said he never saw one fail to high pressure, in 37 yeras of working(being) a JD certiied tech. Got a new old stock ejector control valve assy (cessna casting) complete minus snubber cover. will test valve regulator that on baler now before i switch out the actual regulator in contrl valve. if it never exceeds 2200PSI at 540pto speed and kicker control valve(regulator) turned all the way up... should i press issue with eaton that pump itslef was defective? its a $800 pump, plus $380 to rebuild it.???
