if theres anyone close by, within reason distance, i am really in need of the 2 outer guard/stripper assy for the p/u reel. ones i have are needing the stripper plates repaired and major straightening.

Bought a 336 new in 76??. Punched a lot of hay through it over the years and still going strong.
Looks like you are doing a great job on your's.

Mine are bent up too, and I"ve looked at others over the years that are the same. I"ve never tried looking at why they get damaged so often. My inner one is bad, it pushes hay off the tines as it come up leaving a lot of hay in the field.

Don't take this as being rude but I am curious how in the world you are painting and there is snow on the ground? I have been trying to get my rotary mower painted since last weekend and between rain and colder weather I can't make any progress.

Not sure where you are. Im in Lawrenceburg, KY. My inner one on my parts baler is good, outside one not so much.

Kyhayman, im in Montrose, Pa, 18801 know its bulky, yet not real heavy. if you could weight it, and give me weight and approx box size it would fit in, i will lookup UPS cost to ship, plus what would you like for it? if all works out, will send you my email address to make final arrangements to pay/ship, i will pay shipping, but will need a P/U adress for ups pick up ticket on my end to be done. Thanks guys.... aslso looking for Hyd pump pulley.

i know its not really warm enough, but i use an enamel, prime it, let primer set 30 minuters, then paint over primer while its still soft. Could come off later, but better than bare metal exsposed to weather, thats the chute, small parts warm up in boiler room, take outside paint, bring back in boilerroom to tack up 40 minutes, then hang out and touch up where i handle it, ends on strippers. once it starts to dry it will, but cooler weather makes it slower.

think itss gopher hills & holes, windrow next to or away from them, but usually one guard or the other hits them, or bounces hard if main wheel gets in it. Thats what a Pennsyltucky long guns for, more commonly know as a .243.
