343 corn head

Does anyone know of a good 343 for sale? I'm looking for one field ready or needing very little work. I've put a want ad up in the classifieds but have had no responses from it. I seem to remember seeing posts from a few people who had one that they would sell. It's looking like all of those got sold though. Just my luck.

I've been watching both places. One on tractorhouse I will probably try to do something on if I can't find anything else. Most all of them are over priced for the condition or to far away. I'd like to stay under a 10 hour drive one way. I'm in southern middle Tennessee.

I had a real nice one 3-4 years ago. I sold it to a fellow Yter. I have not seen many sell lately. Good ones will bring $2500+ if they are real nice. We have guys wanting them for grinding earledge around here.

I have seen a good JD 343 out sell the combine they are hanging on.

Try Spallengers Combine Parts at Bluffton, Ohio. They usually have a lot of heads and I know they go as far as you to bring back salvage machines. Have not had a reason to stop for several years now.
