350 diesel question

gas is 6 volt, diesel is 12 volt. diesels always have a heavier starter. different engine brands, ihc, vs continental, so pretty much a big no for them to interchange.

well well we better get on the right page here. are u talking about the 350 tractor model or the 350 engine cid ??? but regardless two different starters. plus there is not a 350cid. gas anyhow. but nice to have full information for a good answer.

How come we don’t have a tractor model? Just saying 350 can be 350 model tractor or the 350 cid such as in the super wd9. Give complete info when asking for help.

Continental gd293 from the Farmall 350 has its own hydraulic pump and the starter off a Farmall 460 will interchange maybe others as well

I do have a IH 350 utility starter which is 12v... it was for my 350 with the Continental GD193 engine. I will sell it for $100 plus shipping. I no longer own the tractor so no use to me.
