I have a '57 (I beleive) International 350d with a continental 193.
This morning it would not start. As I was checking it out I noticed a plug on botton of injection pump was leaking. When I tighten3d it down it broke. I looked in the hole and there is nothing in there. Not even threads. Can't find info on it. Any held would be appreciated. Thanks

That's an interesting tach drive. Ive always seen them driven off the back of the generator. Does the tractor have hydraulics?

Yes it has live hydraulics.
How do I fix it? Does the pump need a rebuild?
It will run but leaks fuel.

You take off that little plate with two screws. Turn the engine until the lines in there line up. Pull the pump off. Email Diesel Tech and find out his address to ship it to him. He repairs pumps for many folks on here. Reasonable price and does a good job.

Thank you forbyour assistance. I have found a shop that rebuild the pump if he can find parts. He is three weeks out. I have had a few tractor issues lately. The SM is stuck in reverse, the loader on H is down. Now this. I be using a wheel barrow to clean barn for a few weeks.
Thank you

The M is likely easy to fix. Two flat expansion plugs on the side of part of the transmission cover below the shifter. Drill a hole in the left one for a metal screw or utility screw to turn into and grab. Pull it out with a claw hammer or the like. Drive the pin out that the shifter pivots on to the right which pushes out the plug on the other side. Pull the gearshift out and realign the shifter slots in a straight row. Put shifter in and drive the expansion plugs back in. Put a small dab of RTV over the hole you drilled. Try to shift it gently. If it becomes a very common occurrence you will need to build up the bottom tip of the shifter with some weld and grind it back square. See the dimensions in the attached post it shows H but they are the same. And by the way the Farmall and IH topic section that is in the attached post is where you should place future posts on your IH herd.
