354 Distributor

How do I determine what distributor is in my 354? I would like to convert to solid state ignition but it appears there multiple options.

Hello Johnny welcome to YT! I am not very familiar
with that IH tractor model. You could see if the vendor
of your electronic ignition can get what you need by
the original distributor part number which is
3068973R92. In the 1st link is the online parts
diagrams for your tractor. Go to the ..Engine.. section,
subsection 2-10 it shows the distributor there.
Otherwise best I can tell you is the YT parts for your
tractor show it as a requiring a cap for a Delco.. The
2nd link is to the YT parts page that shows the
offerings for your tractor. For an Electronic ignition for
your tractor from the selections YT offers; if your
tractor has a negative ground 12 volt system I am
taking an educated guess to say you would need the
3rd option down.
