3594 hydraulics

New to me 3594. When I try to lower an implement, its like the valve slams shut and the hydraulic cylinder locks up. Even if I try to feather the lever it still doesnt work. Is there any adjustment.?

Put new tips on your implement hoses

Its on the local co-ops anhydrous applicator. Do I still need different tips?

Roger is in all likely hood correct, many times Pioneer or other couplers are not a good match and one or the other locks off and will not let oil flow, a common problem.
