I m trying to master posting photos. The title is "35A during a fierce Arizona winter storm" VH

Looks like you'll have a 'prickkly' time getting thru that storm with those right hand 'hydralic' controls. Great picture.

Don,
Good pun. I guess I passed the first pic test. Now I can run everyone nuts with more of the same. The righthand stick is on a Baker valve. I had it working a little but it won t hold oil. I don t have a job for it so it might be a while before I tinker with it. Thanks for the reply. VH

Hi John,
I think the paint, or lack of is original. The hood has the support bracket for shutter control rod on the right side but it has the roll up canvas on it. As it and I are about the same vintage and degree of raggedy we blend in pretty well. I think I ll leave it as is. Thanks for the good advice. VH

Hi BOB,
Yes, it s running. It starts pretty easy. I ve had it apart somewhat as in ground the crank and installed some used piston and rods I bought on this site, lapped the valves and generally tweaked on it all over. The rear cut-offs were really bad so I rebuilt them. They came out pretty nice. VH

That was just a suggestion of coarse and ultimitely it's your choice. Just don't see too many around any more !!! I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder...and she's beautiful to me !!! LOL

Hi Walt,
I m not sure it s art but the gate keeps the Javelina out of Norma s flowers. The coyotes just jump over, but then they don t eat flowers.
I enjoy your photos when you post them. Keep up the good work.
I m in Cave Creek, northeast of Phoenix. Yuma is about a four hour run from here. VH

That IS a nice sweet original. Unfortunetely one is enough for me at least right now. Still working on retoring a '41 'H'. Was a basket case so I couldn't leave it original. Have fun with the new 'old' workhorse !!!

Actually, I was looking at the cactus in the background. Kind of looks like a custom built clutch lever or hydraulic controls on the steering pedestal--

Who woulda thought it, that one test photo would generate so much traffic. I might try it again.
Thanks Greenies, VH
