36 B connecting rods

First post here so forgive me if this has been asked before. I'm gathering parts for a 36 B and was wondering if rods from a later B with insert style bearings would work as a replacement for the original with babbit bearing, and if so which part number? Thanks

I didn't know if they would or not. I thought I herd of someone using later style b rods or even model 50 rods in a unstyled b with some work but can't remember where. Was just thinking of a alternative to the babbit rods. I have been looking for a shop that could pour new babbit if need be hear in Minnesota but have not found anyone yet. I haven't disassembled the engine yet but it is stuck and has been sitting for over 50 yrs. Thanks for the responses.

Try Kohnke repair in Clare, Iowa. Number is 515-546-4551. There used to be a shop in Clare many moons ago and I'm hoping this helps.

Thanks for the info. I'll give that a shot. Not many of the old machine shops around that still do this work.
