3600 3 point lift.

I got a Ford 3600 last Febuary. The lever for the 3 point lift does not stay where you put it. as soon as you let go it goes back down. Is there an adjustment? Or are things wore out. Thanks.
 
I'm not sure on that particular model, but the earlier ones had a friction disk in the pivot and you could tighten down the nut on the pivot to increase the friction. If the nut is tightened as far as it can go, then you might need a new friction disk.
