I am working on a 38 RC. I picked up an operators manual on RCs and the following from the manual has me confused. "The magneto on this engine is equipped with a manually engaged impulse coupling. It must be tripped by hand to engage coupling for starting. Move trigger toward engine."
I look at the magneto and all I see is the lever for grounding the magneto. Can anyone tell me what they are referring to? Is this something that was on the earlier models but by 38 was not part of the system? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance
