Can anyone tell me how the rockers are oiled from the governor through the oiling tube? I am having issues of valves sticking and tractor not running. The oiling tube is missing. I was told that the rockers did not need any oil. But john deere designed them to have oil at least dripped through the valve cover. Thanks for any info in advance.

The oil goes through a drip tube from the govenor to the rocker cover and drips into a rail inside the cover which has small holes to let oil slowly drip out of over each rocker.

You could just oil the rockers with lucas oil or slick 50 or stp if you are not getting any oil to them, the do need to have some oil I think.

I guess my question is how does the govenor supply oil to the tube that goes to the valve cover to drip oil to the rockers?
