Some time ago someone here posted saying that the
RC used a radiator three inches higher than the Model C. I have a "39 RC, and a "49 C. Both radiators measure the same height. The RC has a three inch taller casting for the top hose. When I bought it, it had the shorter casting, with a three inch high OAK chunk, hollowed out, mounted between the head and casting. Whatever works for some!
