Give mschwartz a holler., Or read the post (40 DC repair )posted on November 24 of 2021. Perhaps that will be enough of a picture for you to see Fred. Its a 1940 DC,if that makes any difference.CM
 
I'm sure someone will put up pics of the dash location but the ammeter was in a piece of pipe it fit into, welded to the LH back corner of the battery tray on an upward angle for visibility.
