39 us g weight

Depends on how much Aluminum you want to use..

Ever part you substitute with Aluminum makes it lighter..including the Radiator, seat box and platform..

I have a 38 G with pressed steel wheels 14.9/38 tires, smooth back cover that is alum. and with a 170 pound driver it will make 4500lb. class

My 37 G on round spokes weights 4400 with me on it (160 lbs.).

Will have a tough time making it into the 4500 class unless you do some major cutting on your centers. One thing I've found is that it's almost not worth the trouble because when you are that close then you really can't play around with your weights that much.

A's are by far much more fun to get lightened up in the lower classes.

There's a '39 up in this area that pulls with 14.9's on rounds, no aluminum. They don't pull much under 4700. Gives them some room for a little weight.
