3910 timing

I'm rebuilding my 3910 and there is not a timing mark on the injector pump gear to match up with the idler gear. But, there is a 3 and a 4 on the pump gear. Do I line up the 3 ( as in 3 cylinder) with the dot on the idler?

According to my manual, that is correct. Line the number up with the camshaft drive timing mark.
