3pt arm height adjustment

On my 72' ford 5200 the control lever for the 3pt arms is working really odd
The lever can move roughly 9" , however it only seems to work at the top 2", so it is very "touchy" making it very hard to control the height of any implement

When i set the stop screw to a certain position, then once i put the 3pt hitch all the way up and then down to the stop screw, then most of the time it'll not go down as far as before

Anyone know what to do about this?

Sounds like you have the little lever, below the hitch controls, in draft control, flip that little lever the other direction for position control, that shoud correct the problem. Sounds like you neeed to get an operators manual.

I had played with that already, but now i tried it again and it feels like it must've been half stuck, because now i can move it much further and my height control works properly now😁
Thanks

Since that draft control lever doesn't get moved often it is often difficult to shift between positions. Glad you figured it out.
