I have a 4.5 Powertech out of a compressor
(4045df150 I think is what the sticker
says). It's naturally aspirated and has a
factory rating of 80hp. My father-in-law
has a 5425 with a turbocharged 4.5, which
tractor data also says is 80 engine hp. Is
the difference in hp just from the
injection pump setting? Or are the
injectors and/or other parts different as
well?
Not trying to mess with his 5425. I'm just
curious. Thought a mechanic on here might
know off hand.
