#40 ejector (328 baler)

Hello, I newly acquired a 89 328 baler with a 40 ejector. The side to side movement is controlled by the tractor remotes and the distance control is electric but is missing the switch/tractor side of the wiring. It has three wires coming from the motor/relays running up to the front of the baler. Previous owner actually used a three prong extension cord. I understand I will need a 3 position on/off/on switch and a power source but can anyone tell me which each color wire needs to go to? Thanks in advance

Go to https://techpubs.deere.com/ and do an Equipment search using 40 as the model. You should see Ejectors and will find the 40 there. The Operator's Manual is a free down load and has a wiring schematic in it.

I have a 30 ejector that we added electric controls to. Mine only has 2 wires and I guess the third is just a ground. I just bought a three position toggle switch and made my box with a magnet to put it on the fender. If you need a motor they are the same as power window motors in many cars. Way cheaper than Deere. Someone on YT told me what model to ask for but now I forgot. Tom
