I am restoring a Cockshutt 40. The wide front is an adjustable with the left side set wider than the right. I have not been able to get the inner tube to break loose. I have even froze the whole left side and with a t-bar puller attached heated the casting fast and hot and still was not abe to get it to break loose. Any suggestions?

I don't mess around with 'em. If they are stuck, they're stuck.

Been doin' this since the sixties and it works every time. Leave your front end on the tractor tho. :>)

Yeah, done that once LOL. It was the only way to break it loose. I can't remember what tractor it was though.
Did it exactly as you did, we tore the axle out, made a wish and yanked em apart.
After apart we cleaned em up with a wire wheel and neverseized the sh*t out of em. Doug
