400 Farmall piston

anyone have a used piston 4 1/8 inch. I guess it is a crater piston with # 374306-R1-8 Not sure if name is correct as it is not dome or flat or stepped. Hopefully crater is correct name. thanks.

Hello rhb welcome to YT! I find Bates has a NOS one for a touch over $150. Maybe you were looking for something more economical. If you just web search the number you posted the Bates offering will come up. Due to the direct competition scenario, this forum will not allow me to post their link.

I called Bates them they dont have it.

I got a used set of fire craters out of a Super M. They have a little wear on the skirts, hard to tell I don't have a micrometer, with a caliper I get about 4.121.

That number was a piston for 4-1/8 bore. Due to the larger combustion chamber on a SM head the top is different than a 400 fire crater.
